My cats love this window because it allows them the freedom to go outside onto my patio...now the ‘catio’. Yes I recommend it if you are handy or have access to a hardware store. Item description did not specify that the product being “adjustable” meant the customer had to cut ( or have cut) the additional piece of trimwood added to fit to the window. Yes, the product is great quality however it is awfully expensive for the customer to have to do more to it once it arrives. The flap doesn’t seem to completely close when my cat enters and exits either ( I’m hoping that it will loosen once it is used more often. The flap was also covered with a protective film that left multiple smudges on it regardless of what I used to clean it.

Fits right in the window, looks great. The two little side windows allow light in and give it a more open feel. One of our cats was using it within three days and the other one within a week!
