Product Information

When performance and reliability are paramount, the Seagate Momentus HDD is the perfect pick. With 320 GB of space, this Seagate hard drive can store almost anything you throw at it. This 2.5-inch internal hard drive is suitable for all standard laptop chassis and even portable external enclosures. The 7200 rpm spindle speed, coupled with a 16 MB cache, gives this Seagate hard drive excellent access speeds. The Seagate Momentus uses a standard SATA interface that gives it external transfer speeds of up to 3 Gbps. The increased spindle speed of this internal hard drive draws a mere 0.05 percent more power than traditional 5400 rpm models. The Seagate Momentus also features G-force Protection technology that detects if the laptop is in free fall and moves the heads away from the discs.
