I love the fitbit. Other that being lightweight, easy to use and accurate it gives me motivation to be on the go all the time. Nice to have this product. It can help people to monitor their health. I am telling all my siblings to get one for them. I love it.

The fitbit has many features geared towards keeping on track health wise and loosing weight. Tracking sleep patterns and heart rate during that time was a bit more tricky however which was why I purchased it. I thought it could tell me what my heart rate was like during my fitful sleep patterns and I doesn't seem to do that. It tells you only if you slept or didn't sleep and how many hours and since I was there, I already knew that! Sleeping with it on was a little uncomfortable and I wound up not using it at all after a while. If you want to track your steps during the day and see your heart rate when you press the button though, it's great. I just felt there were a lot of cheaper things out there that could accomplish that if that was my goal. Otherwise the technology for detail isn't there quit yet so save your money for newer technology if you have a specific application.Read full review

I wanted an activity tracker in order to participate in a Step Challenge at work. I first bought another activity tracker that was another brand (not Fitbit) but it was not compatible with the app at work that tracks our progress. Once I returned that one, I saw this one which was a true Fitbit for only a fraction of the retail cost. It works exactly the same as a new one; I can't tell if it was even used. Its also purple which is what I wanted, ans came in the original package. Since it is a large (I knew it would be too big for my wrist), I keep it on my ankle. Actually it tracks more activity that way anyway. Very pleased.

I've used this for three months now. I'm a 70+ walker/hiker, not a workout person. The Charge keeps pretty accurate track of heartbeat and steps, the main things I'm interested in. The quirks come in number of floors climbed: when I climbed 1300 ft. vertical on a mountain, it showed only 5 or so floors (vertical elevation difference); when I drive a vibration-laden Model T Fort, it showed ca. 150 floors. In more regular activity, floors "climbed" vary by about 100 floors. Makes me feel like I can jump tall buildings :-

I use Runkeeper app at same time. When I go on walks, the Fitbit app is off the mark often. Lately, the app shows a completely different walk. Like 3 miles away or a walk I did last week. This was fine until I did the updates and the continuing updates. Now I only see half the letters. They are cut off horizontally. I've called Fitbit for help. None of their ideas changed anything for long. This is my third Fitbit and everything was fine until you need them to fix a bug. Then you are wasting your time asking for help.

Found very easy to use and info is great for those who want to lose weight or stay fit. Only negative is I get 2 days activity then it's time to recharge battery. They claim 5 days between charging. Not even close

This Fitbit Charge HR is the original and while there are 2 newer generations of it, to me this one has 90% of the capability for like a quarter of the price. I used to have a black one for a couple of years but it bit the dust when I cracked it and then got it wet. The plum color was my second choice when I originally bought it, so I was glad when that color became available. It's very handsome! It keeps a pretty accurate count of steps walked and floors climbed. The heart rate count agrees with what i've had a nurse measure, although I don't really know what to do with that data. One other great feature is that is can measure how much (and how well) you are sleeping. All of these statistics are easily available online, It also has a great mobile app.

It logs steps for just moving your arms a lot but that's better than the step counter on my phone missing steps. At least I get a more accurate count of the calories I've burned. The battery lasts about 3.5 days depending on how active you are which isn't so bad, I guess. The heart rate monitor and sleep log features are also very nice. It's lightweight which is good but not waterproof, which stinks. I'm not saying I should be able to dive with it on but taking it off to wash dishes and give my son a bath is inconvenient to say the least. Very often I forget I've taken it off and lose track of the steps and calories I've burned for an hour or more. 7.5/10 I would recommend it for beginners or the casually health conscious.

Wonderful Product! The daily Challenges are great motivation! Pretty accurate on steps (did notice if my fitbit hand was on the steering wheel while on a VERY bumpy dirt road it thought i was walking..... but I just take it off for long driving of bumpy roads, a good time to charge it) The free app MyFitnessPal is GREAT to go along with the fitbit!!! Wonderful product, the HR version is wonderful and gives so many more features!! Also the band has a standard buckle not the odd pressure snap like the standard fitbit Charge has. I LOVE the HR's band. Over all Happy with the product! And love the plum color! :-)

Handy exercise monitor with time, steps, heart rate, mileage and a few other features. Simple to use for basic needs. Lights up which is nice at night. Use it a lot more than I expected. I've come to depend on it counting my steps and helping me meet my exercise goals.
