    Works well. Great for beginners!

    I'm really happy with this tool. I purchased it for woodburning art projects. It heats up well and the multiple tips can be used for different techniques (even soldering). It works really well for what I wanted it for. My only complaint so far is that the tips screw on and can come slightly un-screwed when you're using them.

    needs better way to secure tips

    The tips become loose and have to be re-tightened after cool down, while working on project. I don't leave the tool hot all the time. Otherwise, it works great, providing the tips are tight. I have talked to Dremel what the problem is and how to fix it.

    my experience

    it has been a use full tool for me. the only drawback I have found is the pointed scalpel attachment doesn't heat up hot at the very tip of the blade. it does higher up but not at the very tip. that is a downside for certain uses. however over all it's pretty good.
