I have read many of Debbie Macomber's books and enjoyed them. When I looked for an audio book, I was happy to order this and I really enjoyed it. The woman who read it had a great voice. The characters came alive and were interesting in the way they handled life. I reccomend this.

This is the first book about a knitting shop on Blossom Street in Seattle WA. As the ladies learn to knit so much else is worked out. The very mis matched ladies that turn into friends are such a joy to hear about. It really opens up your thoughts that everyone has troubles. This is a current setting and written very well. It had to have taken Debbie Macomber some time to work this out. I urge you to start with this one and continue on to the out Blossom Street books. I guarantee that you will enjoy them.
I had not read a Debbie Macomber book before and found her characters well developed and likeable. I am now looking for more books by Ms. Macomber. I wish I could find a knitting shop like the one on Blossom Street. I would myself join a class and learn to knit.
I listened to this book while driving on I10 from Houston to San Diego. It is a long boring drive. This book was a peasant diversion. It kept me awake without being a distraction. Because I am a knitter, too, I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
