Unfortunately I have only recently installed this thermostat. I've had it for over a year but when the blower motor died I decided to finally install this. Ran a new line for this "smart" thermostat and connected all the wires. Turned right on and was up and running in a few minutes after setting date/time. I did not hook up the whole house humidifier yet as I have it turned off for now. Will update in the future with how it works. UPDATE: It's been over a year since installing and it works great. It eventually connected to my wireless and I can control it from anywhere with the App on my phone. It has real-time weather info from nearest local weather station. I definitely recommend this product for anyone interested. Good value for the price and does everything the others do.

Local API is awesome. No need for cloud/internet services at all. Have everything integrated via home assistant and accessible via Wireguard, which both run a Raspberry Pi 4. Has ability to set deadbands, cycles per hour, temp sensor offsets, stages, and pretty much anything I think you would really need. The screen is very nice, as are some of the themes that it comes with. The beach theme in the picture actually changes between a day and evening version depending on time of day. The only issue is that the screen affects the built-in temp sensor, but setting an offset fixes that. Just use a reference thermometer to calibrate it.
