The NEED FOR SPEED:MOST WANTED 5-1-0 was one of my most awaited games. I so badly wanted to test the racing touch of the PSP, after playing the same game in the PC. GAMEPLAY: While I was quite excited initially, i became a little bored after a few races. I found gameplay to be less of a challenge than expected, after playing hours on the PC version. The Cop cars can be very annoying at times. But the two worst things about the game are the bad driving views and the flashing cop lights. Let me explain - Because the screen is quite small, there are many times during gameplay that for a brief second or two, you have no idea what in front of you, as only the tail lights of the car can be seen. This poses a problem especially with traffic and when you jump off ramps. I just have no clue about whats ahead of me. And the flashing cop lights are equally annoying, as there are bright red and blue flashes on the screen every now and then, even when you are not chased by a cop. This sudden red flashes irritates my eye as I loose concentration and the visual as it takes me a second to readjust. But the race modes are exciting and interesting, some even new. Cars handle extremely well, they get better with upgrades during the game. So gameplay gets mixed reactions from me, if you can put up with those little twitches, its one hell of a racing game to keep you occupied. GRAPHICS and SOUND: Well, needless to say, the graphics and the sound are exceptional throughout the game, just as any NFS game has been. No complaints.... FINAL WORD: Definitely the best racing game for the PSP yet, although with a few drawbacks. Ridge racer is plenty of laps behind.....Read full review
Being a NASCAR freek I did not want to give my son the time of day when he wanted me to try this game. I did not think it would truley intrest me, MAN WAS I WRONG!!!! The game keeps me guessing and always trying to make myself even better for the next great chase. It provides great handling as you move up in add ons for your car and each car handles differently. The ability to alter the handling is very close to NASCAR and makes this game a joy to play for hours on end. The races and the chaces give you a great feel for the handling as well as how well you can remember what is around the next bend or even if you can remember how hard the next turn will be and there in is the largest challange of this game. My biggest complaint is the fact that the game came with very little in information so that you can understand how to move about the menues and what some of the symbols stand for. Overall I have to give this game a thumbs up and I believe that if you love playing NASCAR you will love playing this.Read full review
One of the things about buying in ebay is that you get products (such as Need for speed: most wanted (PSP))at a much cheaper price plus the new and seal product. You may seen in other stores that cost around $50.oo usd ans its the same product. this game has really great features as police being more aggersive and wide selection of cars to mod them out.At first, the sensitive riving might be hard to control the vihcel but as you go on, you get used to it. If you played the game in the other console such as (PS2, XboX, gamecube) such things are same but a lot difference.
This is a good game for the most part. If your a die-hard fan of the Need for Speed series get this game. If your not you should be warned. The game is super easy, and it is nothing like the console Most Wanted. The police are pretty much invincible, they cant be taken out. If you get the police on your tail your going to get caught eventually. The one thing that ticked me off was there is no free roam. That was what made the console game so much fun. Overall it isn't a bad game, just really easy and boring.
Need for Speed Most Wanted is by far the best Need for Speed so far for the PSP. The graphics are extremely crisp and game play is excellent. The variety of car and customization is amazing. Aside from the gameplay I think the best part about this game is the soundtrack, which is awesome. This game does get pretty hard come the higher levels, but there is always a faster car to buy or adding on another bolt on to help you out. What is really cool is you can even select turner takedown and unlock different types of police vechiles and chase down the street racers. The only thing that was a little disappointing was online, not too many people are online with this game anymore. Overall this is a great game and I would highly recommend it to all.
