    Absolutely great gift

I bought this player for my daughter. Build: It's lightweight, easy to use and offers a bevy of great features. The exterior is metal. It will show surface scratches and wear dings due to the colored surface, but an inexpensive sleeve will keep it looking ship shape. Use: I only had to show my 10-years old daughter how the wheel works once and she was using it like a pro. The camera is in an odd place, but still easily used. The FM tuner needs headphones plugged in in order for it to work and you have to turn the radio off (i.e., you can't just exit out). Those are the only two caveats I can think of in an otherwise well-designed product. Performance: It does what it should: Play music, take and play videos and offer FM radio. I do like the pause button. The games play a bit ...

iPod ok but you'll need a new battery

This iPod is fine but as its an older model the battery won't hold a charge for longer than 30 minutes or so. I had to find a place to change the battery and with this iPod model changing the battery is difficult. So no Batteries Plus or Mac Repair store or any other computer repair store will touch it (as its easy to ruin while trying to get the battery out or in...I'm not sure) so you'll need to go online and find a place to repair it and then send it to them and wait 10 days or so for them to fix it for $50 or so. I found a place called ipod battery depot but I'm sure there are others. Anyway, after the money you pay for an old iPod online plus the $50 to replace the battery you'll have a great iPod which is better than the new ones because the wheel is much easier to use when you run ...

  • Good Ipod for it's price. Really nice features.

I bought an 8Gb Ipod nano as a gift. I tried it out because I was curious about the features it came with. It has integrated speakers which sound pretty good. You are able to listen to FM radio which I loved. The only downside to that is that you can only listen to the radio if your earphones are connected. You are not able to listen to the radio through the speakers. There is also an integrated camera. The quality isn't amazing, but it's good enough for amateur video. Lastly, the screen size has increased compared to the last few models. For such a small device, the screen is pretty large. I would recommend this Ipod for people who are more interested in the features it comes with rather than the amount of space it has for music. 8Gb only holds about 2,000 songs. If that is enough space ...

  • This iPod is a great afforable product for any music lover!

Recently, I had been looking for a new iPod because my old 2nd Gen Nano wasn't big enough. Apple currently sells the 6th Gen Nano's with 8GB, but the small size was a turn off for me. I really liked the rectangular design of previous Nano's, and the classic was too big for me. So I looked up the 8GB 5th Gen and really liked it. I found it lightly used at an affordable price. It works really well and has a lot of cool features. You can customize what options you want displayed on each menu. What makes this different from other iPods is the built in video camera. One disappointment about this iPod is that the camera can be used to take ONLY VIDEOS. You can't take still pictures. Seems pretty silly if you ask me. But anyway, it functions well and takes higher quality videos than you'd expect ...

  • I LOVE MY IPOD! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!

Why I Absolutely LOVE the Ipod Nano 5th Generation So I was on Ebay recently, and I noticed how many people were looking for “ipods.” Inf fact, if you’ll take a look, “ipod” is currently the most searched term on all of Ebay. So why is this? Well, I have an Ipod, so I can tell you. Besides the super long words in the terminology of the phone specs of the Ipod Nano 5th Generation, you will find that is also contains a stopwatch and pedometer, a calendar, clock and alarm clock, as well as FM radio, Voice Recording, and a camera! On top of that, it’s compatible with Itunes! I was thinking, personally, about buying an MP3 Player for the longest time. I researched dozens of them. I will admit, too, that some of them are ACTUALLY pretty cool, but the grim reality is that lesser money equals ...
