I got what I payed for. It works and keeps time… more or less 😅 The mechanics are cheap and a bit hard to operate but I found the sweet spot for operating the winding and watch regulation. It is a quirky watch from ancient times and as such is is fun to handle. I guess that if they still manufacture it, they probably trust the mechanics to last, so as i said, for the money I have paid, i am satisfied.

Good quality watch at an affordable price. I wear it everyday in a harsh outdoor environment and it is rugged enough to take it no problem.

Not a bad example of Russian functionality. Strap is wack ,but watch is the timex of it's kind, as one person said it is meant to last for 10 years and then thrown away . Not a rolex but tough enough and keeps decent time.

I like this watch for the history and qirkie styling but did expect it to wear larger. It is 40mm diamter but short lugs make this feel smaller and not as impressive as one might have imagined. I have a 40mm dive watch with longer lugs that wears and feels larger than this Komandirskie. Also, this is my first 18mm watch strap. It feels tiny. I think my lower limit is 20mm and prefer 22mm. Will look for 20mm or 22mm Vostok Amphibia next time. Overall, I'm okay with the buy.
