Although the cover design could use a redo, this book is SO refreshing. The nuance of timing and structure is at once comforting and challenging.
I've begun to love this format and find it really helpful in my Scripture reading. Thanks to author Phyllis Tickle for the care to keep it Scripture based with a subtle cadence that compels one to keep reading thoughtfully. Meditative, not dull. I keep looking forward to going back for my next dose. Can't believe I'm saying that but this book is just right every time, leaves me wanting to dig in more.
