About this product

Product Information

When you are shopping for a good starter guitar, the Yamaha F335 six-string Acoustic Guitar is an excellent choice. Yamaha is committed to quality and uses acoustic analysis technology in the design process. This popular guitar is a prime example of the outstanding musical instruments they manufacture in Indonesia. The F335 has a classic vintage look, and all types of musicians appreciate its style. It is available in several different colors. The sturdy, laminated spruce top adds to the volume and resolution. The back and sides are meranti, a mahogany-like hardwood grown in Southeast Asia. This acoustic comes in black, natural, and tobacco brown sunburst. The tortoise shell pickguard is quite attractive and gives it a bit of style. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge add some visual appeal to the F335 Yamaha acoustic guitar. The classic dreadnought style gives it a clean sound that is truly enjoyable. In addition, a range of accessories and add-on gear is readily available for these guitars. Its sound is perfect for a beginner or anyone who is serious about learning the guitar and improving. Some beginners mistakenly purchase acoustic guitars with bad strings that are hard to tune and to press down, but Yamaha eliminates the guesswork when it comes to selecting a guitar. Students will find Yamaha guitars comfortable to hold, and their fingers will not hurt pressing down the strings as they might with a cheaper acoustic guitar. This respected company designs and manufactures fine instruments that encourage playing with four niches of guitars for every experience level. In the F series, the Yamaha F335 acoustic guitar offers great volume and intonation. It produces highs that are clear with warmer mid and low tones. Overall, it transitions between beginner to mid-level experience levels quite well. The nut of this guitar measures 1 11/16 inches, and it has a 25 1/2-inch scale with 20 frets. The tuners are gold-plated die-cast metal, and they tune quickly and smoothly. The smooth guitar neck and overall instrument size and shape make it comfortable to handle. This is true even when the instrument is being used for long periods at a time. The adjustable steel truss rod makes it easy to raise and lower the strings to suit the musician’s preferences. The action on it is high enough to avoid buzz but low enough that you don’t have to tire your fingers by pressing down. For these reasons, the Yamaha F335 is an excellent choice for beginners as it takes a while for their fingertips to develop the calluses necessary to play longer. The Yamaha F335 is a dependable acoustic guitar with a solid finish and hardware that make it durable and attractive. It produces terrific sound, balanced tone, and consistency while being fun to play. It makes a great gift for an aspiring musician or for someone who wants a second guitar for jamming. With these versatile acoustic guitars, you can strum them or fingerpick any style of music to your heart’s content. Make some beautiful music with this vintage acoustic guitar.

    Great Guitar for the money.

I bought my first Yamaha Acoustic Guitar when I was 16 and now 46 years later I bought another. This guitar looks great and plays great right out of the box. These acoustics have a fantastic sound. A lot of bang for the buck. I love the way that they did not put a Clear coat on the back of the neck. The gold machine heads are great also as well as the action. I found a small ding in the head stock and a small flaw in the finish on the front of the guitar but for the price I really do not care because I am sure that after a while I'll have pick marks all over it. I own a Martin DCME and this Yamaha sounds just as good if not better. I would recommend this for Beginners as well as Seasoned Vet. Musicians. Pick one up. You won't be sorry.

    Cheap sound

Just want another basic guitar for different tuning. But very disappointed in its sound quality. It sounds like metal string noise, not warm at all. Replaced all strings with new and it is barely better. I owned other Yamaha guitar but this one is so bad

  • Fantastic for the price!

Just starting off and let me say that this is a Great beginning guitar. Wonderful full sound, beautiful finish and easy to work with. Only down side is it doesn’t stay in tune. I’m sure the strings might need some adjusting but I’m new to the guitar so not sure if that’s normal for a new instrument.

  • Haooy, Happy Happy

When I removed my guitar I was not a happy camper, the bridge and string pines were black, and the pick guard was a dark color1 I tuned it up and when I strummed my first G I saw God. in all the ranges it sounds as good if not better then my friends Gibson Dove. It's freaky how this low end Yamaha could sound so good.

  • Great Starter Guitar

It's just what I was looking for at this price point. Actually it's better than I thought it would be. The materials seem to be of a good solid quality. I assumed that it would feel lite and flimsy but I was instead pleasantly surprised.
