Fantastic seller to deal with. Kept me informed and were super helpful and friendly. Provided tracking information so I could see where my order was and when to expect delivery. Considering that it had to come from the States, it arrived here in the UK very quickly. Very well packaged and exactly as described, I’m delighted with my dvd. Thank you so very much for your 5* service 😊

    Minolta 800si

One of the best overall film cameras for outdoor nature photography! Minolta AF lenses provide excellent sharpness and color quality right up with C & K 35mm's. All modes from manual to program are easy to use and exposure metering is right on with remarkable results. My backup is a 700si and I'm well equipped for any challenge. I find I use my Sony DSLR only as a preview camera for my film shots! I also prefer vinyl to digital on my stereo!

    Good Fun

This is a good camera. I keep in it in my bag for the occasional roll of film, because it uses the same lenses my Sony Digital cameras use, and it's light weight and easy. But by no means is this a serious tool. I wouldn't want to rely on it for my pro-work. However, it's light, simple, and fast enough. And when I get tired of working photography, and start to miss Tri-X or FP4+, I can just swap bodies and take a break.

  • Maxxum 800si

One of the last and one of the best of the autofocus Maxxum line of Minolta SLRs. Minolta, alas is no longer in the camera business. Sony bought out Konica Minolta recently. It has become my goto film camera, and I have a few film cameras, thanks to the temptations of EBay. It took me two buys to get a good one, the first had a problem with the film advance. The second one was advertised with a led problem in the viewfinder, so I got it cheap, but it works just fine with a couple of lights out there. I like its fast focus, solid feel and quick film advance. It has a very clear viewfinder. The killer feature for me, compared to the Maxxum 700si, which is very nice too, is that you can set the autofocus to show you what the camera is looking to focus on without having to press a ...

This model has stood the test of time and still a very sault after model and for good reason. This particular model will if you allow it , teach you some things about aperture and film speeds and what is required for good results. The huge built in flash is the largest ever produced by any 35mm camera producer and man is it useful. In most cases it will do the job when other camera models would require an external flash. It takes some getting use to but is very adaptable to the user. The VC-700 battery/grip is almost a must have item, it makes this camera much more versitual in turning the picture vertical with built in control on the VC-700 in easy reach. FLA

  • MINOLTA MAXXUM 800si

in my opinion the best 35mm camera ever made. loads of features as this is a totally professional grade camera but easy enough for an intermediate photographer to use. fast 5fps film advance is wonderful for sports. wireless flash control is superb for portrait work and the design is i think responsible for the best feeling camera i've ever held. the built-in flash actually has a power zoom head and has a range of near 50ft. not like these 16ft flashes put on all the other cameras. this is the top of the line and i believe even better than the newer models.
