Canoscan 9000 F Mark 2 flatbed scanner is the model that you need to work with the mac M1 M2 M3 CPU. Of course being LED scanner it's very fast doing this job. Canon scanner's have been known for years to be very robust. This 9000F Mark2 has continued this robust yet very precise colour scanning.

So far I have tested this device by scanning a photo and then by scanning a negative. The result in both instances was beautiful. The device will enable me to efficiently digitize my voluminous collection of photos and negatives. Now that I am retired, I have the time to finally commence this long-delayed and sentimental project.

Pretty fast- an 8x10 black and white -600 dpi about 16 seconds (scan and save). I used it with Vuescan don't know if the Canon drivers work with current operating systems.

Haven't had a chance to use it to the extent that it was purchased for but seems to be a good tool for digitizing 35mm slides. A pain to get operational with windows 10 drivers & upgrades.

I scanned a 35mm negative and largest size jpg file it produces is around 2.5MB. I was expecting at the least about 4-5. Not sure that’s impressive at all.
