    Dick Francis never disappoints!

    I bought this book to replace my older copy that was falling apart. This copy is in good shape and the price was very reasonable. This is the second book that follows Sid Halley in his after-jockey life as a private investigator. As in the previous Sid Halley book, For Kicks, Sid has to face his fears over losing his remaining hand while tracking down sadistic criminals. A good, solid read for any mystery fan, but especially of interest to Francis' fans.

    Had read book before, good book.

    Ususally enjoy Francis' books, and I enjoyed this one because of the detail in describing horse racing.
