Good economy garage opener
I was looking for a cheap one-button remote for my garage and this was one of the cheapest ones I found online. For an economy opener, it is great. Lightweight, cheap in price, good quality, and has 3 buttons - I only use 1, though. Very easy to set up with my garage opener, the reach distance seems to be about 150 ft. max.

These openers work great once you link them to your base unit. And, that really isn’t hard at all. These are really $15 units over-valued by Genie so as to feed the CEO’s bonus checks. But, they do work really well, and are a wonderful replacement or additional remote opener unit. A great convenience!!!

Research is key to find proper remotes.
My original garage door remote stopped working one day. After changing out the battery I realized that a unit failure was happening. I took my opener to a garage door repair shop and they tested it to be bad. It was not sending a signal and their prices were way too high. I was able to get the proper model number from them, even though mine has been replaced by a 3 button model. I received my purchase quite quickly and in good shape. After inserting batteries and pressing the LEARN button on my opener in the garage, then the button on the new remote, all was working fine. I used the larger middle button for mine. The other buttons are if you have additional doors, which I do not. Please check online to validate that your replacement remote will work on your existing unit and ... It's interesting that on my model of opener, I had to use the right button...that's fine. The opener has a lot more range than I expected. That may be related to the internal 12V battery.
