    Amazing control and plenty of power when you need it.

    I didn't understand how antiquated my Dewalt drill had become until I bought this as a replacement. The level of control in terms of rotation speed is outstanding. I've used it in highly detailed projects like making crates from old lathe and also heavy duty projects like reframing a second story sun porch with ford structural screws. Hands down the best drill I've ever owned.

    Hitachi D10VH2 3/8 Drill

    Drill seems to be of good quality and well balanced. I have noticed what others have said about hearing a rattle and smelling a slight burning aroma when using. However, it doesn’t seem to impact the performance of the drill. Keyless chuck is easy to use and has held all my bits securely.

    Great intermiediate drill.

    Good 3/8ths drill. I am an avid woodworker and I had four drills in the shop, 1-cordless Ryobi, 1-Cordless Milwaukee, a HUGE 8 amp Ridgid and a Delta drill press. There has been times where I needed a medium duty drill with high speeds, like dowel drilling. The cordless drills have power, but slower rps and the Ridgid hammer drill is too big. This drill really has filled the void in my shop and I love every feature about it. the Hitachi is small, but VERY POWERFUL and FAST. The chuck has not slipped on me once, power cord is long and I had it running for about 30 min straight (cut-off wheel) and the drill generated virtually no heat. I have used comparable Dewalts and they are not as solid or quiet as my Hitachi. Well worth my money!

    Very good corded drill. Fast and powerful with variable speeds and a button to lock the trigger down. Works great in my portable drill press.
