Okay so I am not a Season Two fan! I do love the series but as Season Two began to wind down....I had wondered if Lost in Space should have been renamed LOST and SMITH because too me, thats where the whole show seemed to have centered around with Will and the Robot coming in a close second. Not that I mind comedy, but if you want to call any of this farce of season two "comedy"!! I really think that the Robinsons would have been better off if they had Gilligan from Gilligan's Island with them instead. At least Gilligan had his moments that he proved that he had some usefulness within him, but not by much. Between Dr. Smith and Gilligan, television has never had two more worthless human beings as did these shows. I wonder... if Dr. Smith and Gilligan had ever gotten rescued, do you think they would have shared a beer or two and shared the same old bar stool Norm Peterson of CHEERS sat upon if they ever met?? Heres the episodes of Lost in Space Season Two, Volume Two that stood out the most: 1. War of the Androids (An android with Superman underwear!) 2. Trip Inside the Robot (nice inside look of the inner part of the robot with Christmas lights and a water hydrolic pump to run him) 3. Attack of the Mechanical Men (close, but no cigar..the Robinsons almost get rid of Dr. Smith) 4.The Space Vikings ( Dr. Smith finds the hammer of Thor, but not to drive nails with) 5. The Galaxy Gift (The last show of season two...THANK GOODNESS!!!) CAST: John Robinson..........Guy Williams Maureen Robinson.......June Lockhart Dr. Smith..............Johnathan Harris Major West.............Mark Goddard Will Robinson..........Billy Mumy Judy Robinson..........Marta Kristen Penny Robinson.........Angela Cartwrite The Robot..............The RobotRead full review
I had recently bought a "Lost in Space" complete series blue ray set. Unfortunately, season 2, discs 4 and 5 were totally unplayable so I ordered this set as a replacement. It may not be blue ray but it'll do the job.

In the entire Lost and Space series no profanity was used, everyone kept their clothes on, even the men wore tee shirts, no tattoos or body piercing, not a hint of sexually suggestive material, there is no alcohol or drug consumption and we hear alien words like Thank You, Please, May I, Pardon Me, I'm Sorry. The Lost In Space series will not appeal to the masses due to its lack of immoral material but for those who need a break from todays social woes, it is a welcomed addition to the home DVD collection. Having the Robinson family and Dr. Smith on the TV screen is likened to having good friends stop by for awhile. Yes the color episodes are really juvenile but somewhere down deep inside there is a kid in all of us and if we give these programs a chance they will lighten our hearts. Don't be surprised if you find yourself laughing this series has that effect on unsuspecting adults.Read full review
Watching this old TV series brings back so many fond childhood memories! I laughed so hard at Dr. Zachery Smith. The music crescendo at the little clip previewing the "next week's" program is so old school scripting, it made me want to watch one show right after another. I marvelled! Just marvelled on how far television has come in technical genius as this is quite "dinosaur" entertainment. But, it made me smile and wish for the good old days of no sex, no violence and no coarse language warnings which always cause me to change stations or as we used to do in 60's.... "turn the channel".
I was a big fan of Lost in Space when I was a kid. I got the first Season as a birthday gift, watch them all, and them I decided to watch all seasons. As a brazilian native, I did not have the privilige of watching all the episodes. I guess, at that time, Brazil would import a limited number of episodes. So, it's been fun to watch all episodes even though season 2 vol. 2 has a couple of pretty bad ones, but still worth watching them. The DVD sound and image are pretty good.

I bought this DVD set (which was a terrific deal used) because I hadn't seen Lost in Space since I was a kid - and even then it was in black and white! It was my favorite show when I was a young boy. I truly enjoyed reliving the episodes from season 2. I'm hoping to watch the first season also when I get a chance.
Needed this to complete the series. Great value.

My 5 year old son loves this DVD. A retro sci fi series from I believe the early 70's. It's kind of corny with outdated special effects but just a wonderful blast from the past for little ones and Mommy too. I will continue to get more of the series over time. My little guy's favorite line from the DVD "Warning, warning, Danger Will Robinson." Nice, old fashioned TV show, wholesome, corny and good for little ones.
