I messaged the seller with a genuine concern as to how my item was when I opened the box, I was not even given a chance to have a discussion on what could have happened. All I was told was they are not responsible for anything that happens after shipping. Basically, I'm a liar. Thanks for the experience.

This phone was delivered to the NY address the buyer provided a few days after shipping, then the phone was forwarded to somewhere in Africa and the seller claims
arrived 3 weeks later. Who knows how many industrial x-rays and pressure differentials or other 3rd parties it could have gone through to cause the battery to swell. If a claim was filed after it arrived at the original buyers address in NY with damage I could make a claim with USPS. Unfortunate, but out of my control.
