    Wrong title - This is not a 16 mile GMRS product

    Not really sure if it operates on GMRS OR FRS. There is NO difference in range capabilities and reception on GMRS or FRS frequencies. Both ways are under 1 mile. This product has a squelch problem that happens at it's will with absolutely no way to handle the noise. These radio's are no better than a CB. They would be OK if there was a way to control the squelch.
