CPU is packaged in an enclosed blister clamshell inside anti-static bag. One suggestion for package is split the bubble wrap padding all around evenly and not just on one side. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Will be putting it in an entry system with spare parts for kid and see how it performs and how much life to get out of it!

Anyway, the item arrived in new condition as described, although it came a day later than projected, no complaints. Item works fine in my motherboard compared to a different seller's 5775C I bought recently. Seller was willing to negotiate regarding my offer and was realistic w/ their expectations. A+++ seller and would do business again.
