The Fun of Reading BATB, the Book
I loved reliving the beginning to the story that was 'Beauty and the Beast' the tv series. Upon starting the book I realized that it was exactly as the script was for that opening pilot episode. Soon, however, I noticed that because this is a book format and not given the limits of a 60 minute script, the author was able to go where that script couldn't. Aside from what was being told to continue the story, I really enjoyed the inuendo between the lines, of Catherine's thoughts of what she didn't say, things obviously, that could never be shown in any episode. Ron Perlman's Vincent and Linda Hamilton's Catherine is the Best, the books tell what we couldn't see for lack of time allowed for the show.
