killer_aint_it was very helpful during the question and answer period before buying. Also finding out that the GT mandola in the pictures was the one for sale (in this case), so that helped me decide too. They packed and sent it out quickly, and it arrived within 3 days, so very impressive delivery as well, thank you! The best part, is that it's a very nice mandola too, and sounds great! A bit heavy, but a good one.

Guitar bought as shop demo was mint just as described in listing. Honest seller and they did a great job with packing. Good communication. I would highly recommend purchasing from this seller. Beautiful PRS S2 guitar at a great price.

  • Real banjo sound for players on a budget

Excellent quality instrument. I can only compare this to a Deering Eagle, Deering Deluxe, and a Gold Tone BG150F that I have also owned. For the money, less than half that of the Deerings, the OB150 is better value. Sound and tone wise it’s better for bluegrass than the Deerings imo, but I accept that setup can influence this substantially. I bought my OB150 second hand, sounded good. Then tensioned the head properly, and bam! Sounded bloody amazing. Definitely better all round than the cheaper Gold Tone BG150F, which I take away for camping trips and festivals where instrument security maybe an issue. The BG150 was my first decent banjo, not a bad place to start, and a keeper for reasons mentioned. I think if you’re considering an upgrade from your beginner clunker banjo to a real ...

  • Great quality

I know there are way more expensive and lots of cheaper banjos out there but for this price the Gold Tone OB 150 puts out an amazing sound, the wood is beautiful without the high gloss look and it came with a Gold Tone hard shell case. I absolutely I’ve it.

The folks at Gold Tone have a winner here. Very nice workmanship. Good tone all way up the neck.
