Alien Trilogy is a first-person shooter that combines all three Alien movies into one quest broken into three chapters. Each chapter focuses on a different aspect of its respective movie, but does not follow the order in which they were released.<br><br>You begin on LV426 -- the setting of the sequel, Aliens. The game then flows into the prison colony of Alien 3 and finally comes to a close aboard the derelict spacecraft from the original Alien. Regardless of their order, each quest requires the completion of missions loosely based on those of the movies. They range from going from point A to point B to destroying the Queen's nest. Each one intertwines with the overall storyline, which is told via cinema sequences rendered and inspired by the movies.<br><br>Also lifted from the movies are the way the three sections are presented in atmosphere, mood, and level design. Most corridors are dark and ominous and attempt to embrace the player with a feeling of suspense and fear. All of the creatures seen in the movies have been included, such as the face-hugger and regular aliens. If it's not killed fast enough, the former will jump up on your face/screen and begin sucking your life away.<br><br>Alien Trilogy is for one player only.

    A solid Alien game for it's time

    The games alright, it captures the atmosphere of the Alien movies quite well. It plays like a doom/duke nukem type clone. Only gripes are that the environments are a bit too dark and navigating through the game could be a chore.

    Prepare to be scared spitless!

    As a recently retired individual, I needed something to take up my extra time,and got into military style video games. Over the years I have bought several game systems, ( PS1, PS2 and Wii)and played occasionally. But now, I play a variety of first person shooter games. This game is an excellent example of a seat of your pants game, where you need a sharp eye, and a steady hand or you get attacked by all sort of nasty aliens. Very close to the movies, and situations in them. Prepare for a real roller coaster ride of action. The graphics are spectacular, the aliens and face huggers numerous and quick.     Classic game from my childhood.

    This game came from a time period where no one really cared about a story or mind blowing graphics. (Examples were Rebel Assault and Die Hard Trilogy to name a few). What this game had was the awesome gameplay. This game put you where Aliens started but added elements from the 3 movies out at the time. First with Aliens at Hadley&apos;s Hope, then the prison modeled after Fury 161, and finishes at the Derelict Space Craft. The game also pitted you against not only xenomorphs, but also hostile survivors, synthetics, and alien hunters that look like a mix between a hazmat worker and a stormtrooper with a pulse rifle. Also there are different strains of xenomorphs, which are mostly seen from the movies except the Adult Dog Xenomorph which design came from mostly the dog/ox strain. Also unique ...

    Alien Trilogy (Playstation 1)

    Well, what can I say? It&apos;s a Playstation 1 title. So with that said, I guess you would have to be a &quot;retro-gamer&quot; and an Alien fan like myself to fully enjoy the game. The main reason that I purchased this Playstation 1 game was because I am a HUGE Alien movie franchise fan. Plus, there aren&apos;t any video games of this nature available for my Wii or Playstation 2 game consoles. As in, no Aliens first person shooter (FPS) games for either system. As for the game, it&apos;s your basic first person shooter (FPS) video game. I only rate it as average, as the graphics are so-so and the game controls are below average.     In ALIEN TRILOGY, those chest-bursting, face-sucking, acid-spewing minions of deep space whose only goal is to destroy every human they come into contact with are back. Only one person can save humanity from the alien threat: Lt. Ellen Ripley. Guide her as she blasts through 30 levels of aliens with everything from a 9mm handgun to a powerful flame-thrower. All of the weapons cause damage to the interactive environments that are inspired by the three movies, so you can destroy walls to find shortcuts and reveal secrets, which gives you several alternate ways to complete a level. With plenty of secrets and shortcuts, any fan of first-person shooters or the ALIEN movies will be happy for a long time.
