    Nice playset, mediocre build.

    It's a pretty cool set once assembled (large with lots of functions), but it isn't very strong and many hinges and sections are poorly connected. Cool set, but not very detailed and not really worth the money imho.

    Lots of fun in a box

    This LEGO castle set has been discontinued and is therefore in high demand on ebay. I was happy to find it and win my auction, since I wanted to get it for my son for his 8th birthday. The set arrived with all pieces in plenty of time and took the better part of the weekend for my son (and my husband) to put it together. I think it comes with some pretty specific-to-the-set pieces, but also comes with little LEGO knight minifigs and lots of other cool bricks and pieces that my son can use in his other creations. This was a challenge to build but has definitely been a source of entertainment for both my boys for several weeks now. I figure anything that gets them out of my hair for a few hours is totally worth it!
