But you can call him Insector X.

In Insector X, guide Kait through five rounds of shoot-'em-up action as you blast away at Baglon-Belzeid's forces. Along the way, your Synchroriverator gun becomes more powerful as you collect power-ups left behind by certain enemies. Other power-ups enable you to speed up or use a special weapon. Each round ends with a powerful boss that must be defeated in order to advance. Careful precision is necessary, as Kait must dodge not only the insectoid enemies, but also the bullets and other projectiles they may fire in his direction. If Kait is hit only once, he will perish.

Options allow you to have up to eight lives per game to use with your three continues. Also, you can choose between three difficulty levels.

Bought a “Super Rare” item, but received with noticeable defects. Item has multiple dents, along with addons missing (no trading cards, no outer package with sticker seal). Giving a + rating, since pics did show the dents (not realizing I had to zoom in), but make no mistake—I’m being nice, and made sense to why the price was lower. Fair warning: next time, make sure the description is more detailed instead of just 1 short sentence, or else you’ll deal with NOT nice and very angry collectors ;)

UPDATE: Seller has granted me a partial refund, out of the kindness of their hearts (did not expect that at all). Patience and understanding is greatly appreciated, best customer service I have ever had. A+++++, respectfully, many thanks will gladly buy from again :D

  • Great shoot em' up

Honestly, there are a lot of shooters on the Genesis, and if you played em all, than this one comes recommended. The game doesn't do anything out of the ordinary. But what you do get is a solid, straight forward shooter em up action. The levels are interesting, however, they do lack parallax scrolling, which is a big minus, especially for a Genesis game. Fun game, just don't pay over the odds.

  • Insector X is good game.

I've play Insector X game for sega genesis and it was different from arcade. it is likely real insect to battle. the arcade is little cartoon action shooter game you will like to play but genesis is better than the arcade. i enjoy the game.
