Black Rob debut album from the year of 1999 recorded and released on Puff Daddy's label Bad Boy Records. In the year of 1999 Bad Boy Records lost alot of their top rap artistes including Craig Mack who was dropped from the label, also the passing and death of the Notorious BIG, which also resulted the retirement of Harlem rapper Mase who went on to become a preacher and a pastor, and finally the three kings from yonkers the Lox who left the label after thier debut album and went on to record for DMX's label Ruff Ryderz. So this resulted as Black Rob being the only rapper not to leave the label and who was the only Bad Boy recording artist to be the last one standing. But this album also gets a 10 becuase it was a Puff Daddy production and the album has on two hit singles such as "I Dare You" and "WHOA". Some of the other songs on the album are alright but in my opinion those are the top two hits on this album. So if you wanna hear Black Rob speak the truth on this album grab yourself a copy it would also be considered as an great add to your 1990s east coast new york hip hop collection and when you put this album on it will have saying "WHOA".Read full review
Really dope cd from back in '99, when even mainstream rap/hip-hop was still good. . . . anyways great cd for any hip-hop fan, black rob really holds it down with his debut cd, even recieved 4.5 mics in the source. def recommend it, check out the single from it, "like whoa". you know what it is . . .
Rough and rugged CD.

The CD is tight. You have to like his beats, they are good. 16 out of the 21 tracks are tight. The skit is hilarious! A good buy.
