They work
1.) Hard as hell to install for the first time, actually slipped and busted my finger open. 2.) They are pretty heavy weighing 0.3oz a piece, which doesn't sound like much, but all 12 together makes 3.6oz. Ounces on a gun add up fast, remember, it only takes 16oz to make a pound. I limited the guards to 7 pieces. 3.) They add accesive bulk to the handguard, it's granted that it is the nature of having any hanguard protection slats. Over all, they are made of good rugged quality material, hence weighing 0.3oz a piece. Definitely exceeds other brands for value.1.) Made to do what they're supposed to do.
Great idea but I found the kit's I bought, way too hard to bend into place. As much as I wanted to put them on, I ended up using the OEM "Full Length" one's that came off of the more expensive AR-15 hand grips. I think I bought these kits like 2 years ago & one package is still sealed. I guess if you're going to spend $475-$750 on a new AR & it didn't come with a better quality Hand Grip, don't go cheap on yourself, or look for one on eBay or better yet, Armslist comes to mind.....Great idea but I found the kit's I bought, way too hard to bend into place. The best I've used!!!
I highly recommend these, they fit perfect and look great on my new AK-47. Most rail covers Lack stop bars which will cause the rail covers to slide up and down the rail. These future stop bars keeping them where you put them. They look great and the feel is almost a plastic like rubber. They are very easy to install, just position it where you want it, hook the top lip over the rail and push down to snap into place. These are very secure and by far the best I have used, very well priced as well.I highly recommend these, they fit perfect and look great on my new AK-47. Covered my picatinney rails with these. These are a little tough to put on but once they are on the are on to stay. A friend bout some cheaper ones and now they are lost in the woods. These will not pop off like the cheap ones. I can now handle my AR with out all the sharp edges of the rail catching on everything in sight plus hurting my hands.

It'll do the job
I have this same product from 2 other manufacturers. This is my least favorite. It's pretty stiff plastic and difficult to install (compared to other brands). It's also harder to the touch, so there's a little more slip to it. It's very affordable, so the value is there. I don't regret my purchase, but you'll get what you pay for.
