The MS4 Generation 2 rifle sling is a newly modified holder. Generation 2 consists of durable and weather-resistant nylon that holds any long firearm in position for comfort or action. This rifle sling has Quick Release swivels that operate through a push-button mechanism. This allows a quick change between one-point and two-point positions, making the carrying of weapons convenient. The extended length creates a more comfortable and manageable feel as you climb up and down hills and ravines.

    Exactly as advertised

    I did a bit of research on different slings and watched several videos about characteristics that people liked in slings and what they didn't like. When all was said and done, this one seemed to be the best balance of them all. Now that I've received it and had a chance to use it, it was the right choice for me. Well made, very easy and smooth to adjust. The slide stays where you put it and doesn't slip yet can be moved with one hand when switching from a 2-point sling to a 1-point sling. Strong stitching, I think this will last. I'd recommend this sling.

    Fatal flaw in design.

    The overall quality is very good. But this sling has a fatal flaw. The QD quick disconnect that connects mid sling is a very poor design. Instead of being a continous circular grooved design it is a birdcage type receiver. If the QD rotates whatsoever it disconnects, dropping your expensive item on the ground. It's whole purpose is to rotate. I am amazed this got past Magpul QC.

    Magpul Perfection

    I was looking for a good multi point sling to go on my LWRC rifle-The Magpul Gen 2 MS4 is perfect. The strap is soft but durable. The hardware is definitely substantial and the multiple attachment options allow it to adapt to my needs. I had looked at other brands and nothing seemed to compare to the Magpul.

    Great Sling

    This sling is the only one you will need. It is convenient and easy to use. The QD point hold tight and don't move. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality sling at a great price. I would expect nothing less from Magpie.

    A sling you can depend on.

    Excellent build quality and industrial strength hardware. QD allows for great flexibility on a POF Renegade + SPR, permitting multiple attach points without extra adapters. Sling mounts quickly to front (or rear) of M-Lok rail, and factory QD attach point on the stock. Adjustable for individual size and or rifle positional preference. I have a variety of Mag-Pul products, all of which are top notch quality, smart design, and excellent value.
