Thank you for the item. Arrived just as described in great new condition. This seller followed my wishes as far as shipping in a requested note in separate instructions just as I asked for. I certainly appreciate your extra care in packing, handling and protection. That's how it should be done! It helps against Media Mail damage. Excellent customer service and would love to do business with again anytime. I'm sure I will be back! Best experience. A+++ I really appreciate you and your care.

Received item in perfect working condition. I like getting items as advertised, without any surprises. Small business vendors can be 100 times better than big box corporations only worried about profit, over customer service. This vendor came through; thank you!

  • The best MONKEES album of the '60s!

From 1966 to 1970, the made-for-TV pop group The Monkees churned out 9 original studio albums. What made their selections of songs stand-out from other artists of that era is how well-crafted these recordings truly are. Nowhere was this more evident than when they released their 6th album, the original soundtrack to their 1968 motion picture "HEAD". This particular album boasted several firsts upon its initial release; it was the soundtrack to their first and only movie, the first album not to feature an image of the group on the front cover (instead, a reflective silver-mylar sheet was used), their first album not to hit the top ten charts (whereas the perivous 5 albums all were in the top 5) and their first album to be released only in stereo (the first 5 albums were issued in stereo AND ...

  • THE MONKEES HEAD SOUNDTRACK

THIS WAS THE MONKEES SOUNDTRACK TO HEAD. THE CD HAS A COUPLE OF VERSIONS OF THE SAME SONGS. A VERSION OF CIRCLE SKY RECORDED LIVE BY THE MONKEES IN 1968, ONE OF THE FEW RECORDINGS OF THE MONKEES PERFORMING ALL THE MUSIC , ALONG WITH THE FILM VERSION USING STUDIO MUSCIANS . AND PETER SINGING LEAD ON HIS OWN CAN YOU DIG IT, INSTEAD OF THE MICKEY VERSION FOR THE MOVIE . THE MOST UNUSUAL SOUND OF ALL THE MONKEE ALBUMS, A LOT OF MOVIE DIALOGUE IN BETWEEN THE FEW SONGS .BUT OVERALL WORTH IT FOR THE CIRCLE SKY LIVE VERSION.

  • One of the Best

I am a huge Monkees fan. Some albums are better than others, though. I think Head is one of their best. Porpoise Song and As We Go Along are sheer genius. I also really like Circle Sky, Can You Dig It?, and Do I have To Do This All Over Again. I just wish there were more songs and less BS in between songs. All in all, a great album.
