    Fast, but old. Intel P4 EE 3.2 GHz in socket 478.

    The Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition is the fastest CPU ever made for socket 478, which is pretty old setup. This chip seems a little slow with word documents and normal programs, but as soon as you render a big file or play a game, you will see what makes this chip so pricey. The L1 and L2 cache are half of what the Prescott P4 CPU is, but it's the L3 cache that's impressive. At the time, this was one of the first x86 CPUs to have a L3 cache, and it was a single core. The fact this chip can keep it's ground with the first-gen AMD 64-bit dual cores, which has no L3 cache, was crazy; but it was worth $999, so nobody wanted it. This CPU is perfect for a 32-bit system, and barley goes over in 60% of total power, unlike the Prescott that always went to 100%. I have no problems except for the ...

    Very good

    Haven't tested yet , but I have a feeling this owns and would terminate in gaming :p I wish I could win this , and pay for it , I get my paycheck on friday so.....Please post if again if noone buys!
