Great idea, but too short for my application. 1950's brick ranch. If the top brace was about twice as long I think it would work. I used the bottom brace for the rubber foot and 2x4s to make a brace. Maybe it was designed for trailers or something with a shorter distance to the outside wall. I plan to install small AC in my shed. It has 2x4 stud walls and siding I believe the brace will work with minimal modifications. The walls are less than 6 inches thick.

The problem with the bracket is spacers that help hold the air conditioner in place a black rubbers that are supposed to be able to fasten to the tubes do you not like sloppy they roll their not fitted right otherwise the bracket would be fine I need to read the sign the black pads so they fit tighter
