    Keep The Varmits Away With Bell And Howell

    Found one of these things when cleaning out my in-laws house about 8 years ago. On a whim, I brought it home and set it up in the backyard. We have had all sorts of plants eaten by the local deer population. THIS THING KEEPS THE DEER AWAY. The original one stopped working so I had to buy a new one. It does need sunlight to charge, and a red light comes on when it senses movement and activates the silent (to us humans) ultrasonic noise that repels deer. It works better than repellent sprays that stink up the yard and have to be constantly reapplied.

    This package look like it had been re-wrapped also there was no tape in the battery drawer where there should’ve been take are used it and animals came and ate my plants again so does this sonar really work?

    Bell and Howell Solar Ultrasonic Animal Repeller Motion Detector

    I had the same repeller motion detector a few years ago as we had a problem with an ignorant neighbor and his dog. It seemed to work well.. Also some of my other neighbors thought it was a camera. So it did double duty.

    Animal repellant

    since it makes a sound you cannot hear I don't know if it works or not, but I haven't seen the stray cat in my back yard for some time so I guess it is working

    Squirrels do not set off the motion sensor

    Bought this hoping to deter the squirrels from messing up our lawn and eating fruit off the trees. When the motion sensor senses movement n LED comes on. That works when I stand in front of the unit and move or wave my arm. When a squirrel passes in front of it... nothing happens. I have tried several different positions and angles. Squirrels have not set it off yet. But since I have now bought it I will keep trying for success.
