The plastic portion of the DeWalt dust shroud was just like the original. Unfortunately, the rubber gasket material intended to keep dust from escaping from the vacuum system was very poorly applied. Large gaps in the gasket around each screw hole and on one entire end of the shroud. I have ordered additional gasket rubber from DeWalt and will repair it myself. Next time I'll go directly to DeWalt for parts
