The sequel to one of the very first tilt-and-roll games for Wii, Marble Saga: Kororinpa brings 150 new puzzle box-style challenges and Wii Balance Board compatibility. As in the original Marble Mania, each game board consists of a 3D pathway, suspended in space. The goal is to guide a rolling marble across the narrow pathway without allowing it to fall off the side. By either tilting the Wii Remote or shifting their weight on the Balance Board, players cause the onscreen game board to tilt correspondingly, which in turn causes the marble to roll downward -- around and through the platform puzzle (or right off the edge and out of play!). The single-player "saga" in the game stars Anthony the Ant, who longs to one day create a path to the glorious golden sunflower, which is an entire ant world away. Players help Anthony toward his dream, one marble-rolling puzzle at a time. The game also offers mini-games and multiplayer races for up to four. Players can create their own levels and share them with friends through the Wii24Connect service.

Great Wii Puzzle Game
Marble Saga is the sequel to the Wii game Marble Mania. The first game is one of my favorite Wii games and my favorite puzzle game. When I heard that they were making a sequel I had mixed feelings, I wasn’t sure if they could really improve on the original game. When I first played this game I was very surprised at how good it was (compared to the previous game).The game pretty much plays the same as the first marble mania; you guide your marble through a maze full of obstacles and traps. As you progress through the game new obstacles are introduced. In this game there are 11 levels in each area and every time you complete an area, a new one is unlocked. Different marbles play differently, some are faster, some are slower, etc. There is also a new level editor mode which allows you to make your own stages. This is a great new feature that adds a lot of replay value to the game. You can earn parts in the normal game that can be combined to create new obstacles for you to use in the level editor. Overall the stages look good and are much different from the first game. The music is okay, it isn’t very noticeable which can sometimes be a good thing. I thought some of the sound effects were great, the way your marble sounds rolling on some of the surfaces is really cool. The story that has been added to the game was not really necessary, but I think that younger kids would enjoy it. Marble Saga is a great puzzle game for the Wii; if you own a Wii you should buy this game. Pros: - Fun puzzle game. - Great gameplay. Cons: - A little too short.

While all autistic kids are different my 5 yr old grandson loved, loved, loved this game and somehow connected to it and does awesome with it. I give it 5 stars and a sigh of relief that he loves it so much he looks forward to earning game time. Simple hand movements roll the marble through a maze...and it gives them the ability to play the same again and again or choose from other mazes to play. While he doesn't have an understanding of the ants rebuilding a structure he could play the mazes day and night. I also bought the older version but decided the newer is better for his needs. He also stimms or has a type of flapping of the hands but I have noticed for some reason playing this he actually seems to do it less and since you could replay again and again they don't feel pressure and ... They turn it sideways which makes it pretty easy. It is my other fav and Wii has more games for his age. Great graphics like being in a maze finding crystals but it is not necessary to even find one to continue playing!! They can play to their hearts content especially younger kids. Its one of his 2 favorite games. If you have have someone you think might like this it can't hurt to try it and you have probably tried many it is so rewarding when they connect with something.

I play this game more than any other exept for Wii Fit. The controls are very easy to understand. You can play it using the Wii Balance Board and with the remote. Each level has new challenges. The graphics are well-detailed, unlike Wii play for example. The object of the game is to use gravity to roll your choice of balls around a course that includes moving platforms, ramps, holes in the floor, and magnetic rails while collecting jewels until you reach the goal. There is a scoreboard for each level, so if you repeat it you can compare your time to how you did before. You can take turns playing against an opponent for the best score. The Marble Saga Kororinpa game for the Wii is SO MUCH FUN! My entire family from my 3 year old granddaughter to myself all love this fun balancing game. You can use it with or without the Wii balance board. I like to use the Wii balance board, so it gives me a fun and enjoyable workout, others who dont wish to stand, can easily use the Wii controlers while sitting and still have loads of fun balancing and falling, and gaining points. There are many levels, and One thing I really like, is that you can try any level at any time, you don't have to make it through level 3 before you to go level 4, that's really nice.
