Product Information

This PS2 game places players on perfectly powdered slopes, strapped into the hourglass-shaped skis of United States Olympic medalist, FIS (Fédération Internationale de Ski) champion, and purported "bad boy" of the sport Bode Miller. To make the most of their abilities, players can train with a coach, and use their earnings from competitions and sponsorship deals to buy new and better gear. Risk-takers can also earn money away from the mountain, by placing bets on their favorite skiers to win competitions. In all, the game features 32 slopes set in 18 internationally famous venues.

    Tilte fits the game perfectly

    I love the fact that is game is very challenging. The controls are very sensitive. You have to guide the skier through the gates with a bit of skill. Too much turn and the skier wipes out into the fence. The commentors are a bit annoying but you can tune them out by adjusting the sound. My wife loved to ski when she did, so I bought it for her, but also as an addition to my game collection.

    Too Hard

    This game could have been really fun, but it's incredibly hard to play. Just getting down the mountain without crashing is extremely difficult. I had to race about 100 times before making it down without crashing. So many video games have bad controls and this is one of them. Just way to hard.

    Lame-O

    I bought it because I like Bode Miller, thought it might be sweet, but it is actually very lame, hard to control. Might be just me, I don't know.
