    Smooth

    This is the smoothest crochet I have ever owned. I LOVE the handle. This hook will take some getting use to, I'm use to Boye and Susan Bates, this one doesn't hold the stitch like the other two I named BUT I think it will just take some time to get use to this hook, like when I went from Susan Bates to Boye hooks. It's only 5 1/2 inches, I would prefer 6 inches, I do the knife hold and have large hands so 1/2 inch more would be more suited for me.

    These hooks are ok but there are better ones out there for bad hands. Don't get me wrong it does the job. But as far as being good enough to help with hands hurting when Crocheting this could be better.
