Very well designed.
From top to bottom: the rings are rock solid, screws are deep with Torx heads that ensure secure 20 lb./inch pressure reducing the risk of stripping. The rings have a clearance of 2.25 inches between them allowing for large turret well scopes. I personally like ring separation because it transfers lesser shock onto the scope itself. The post where the rings are sitting is 1/2 inch thick, much better than 2 x 1/8th or less side supports like most cantilever mounts have. If one of those panels bends, the scope is out of whack. The clamping system is strong and sports a very smart safety. Pushing the clamp forward and then inwards allows for locking the lever in place. Tension can be relieved or increased by 1/6th of a turn. Easy release by pushing forward and pry open with a screwdriver. ... Overall the best QD scope mount out there.
