    Best of it's type!

    I have had one of these for a few years and liked it so well I just bought a 2nd one for my shop. They are durable, easy to read, and have a high quality feel. I make far fewer errors with the nice big keys. I have bought a few different large view calculators that were junk and did not last well at all. This TI model is good quality and a pleasure to use, with no downsides at all. Spend a few bucks and get this "real" one!

    Good, low-priced desktop calculator!

    Was looking for a small, basic desktop calculator that was low cost and not too large. This unit fills the bill. It is solar-powered and has a battery back up. Large, nicely spaced and responsive keypad. A nice feature, that I didn't think much of at first, were tax rate keys that became more useful than I anticipated. You enter a rate, and then you can add or subtract taxes with a simple press of another key. Curvy design is a change from the standard box-like shape. Large, angled display is easy to read. Now, two minuses: First, it is very light weight and slides easily. Surprised that it has only two, tiny rubber feet. Four, stick-on rubber feet cured the problem.     Does what I need it to do and stores easily in my desk drawer when I am not using it.

    Every month I use a calculator to balance my checkbook. Last month my old one died, so this is its replacement. I only use it to add and subtract, and it does that readily. I like the size…small enough to fit easily in my desk drawer, but large enough buttons for my old fat fingers to work with it. I did not want a calculator with tiny buttons, and this one is fine.

    Every household needs a couple of these

    I already have two of these and love 'em. But for whatever reason, they are never within arms' reach when I need one -- I always have to go hunt one down. Now, after buying three more, hopefully that will be less of a problem. These are great calculators for simple math. They have a large display and the buttons are just the right size. I highly recommend them!
