  • its not quite perfect...

my first "smart phone" was the samsung behold t919. it did not have wi-fi just like the memoir doesn't. most of the features and functions are exactly the same as the t919 behold as most of the samsung lineup work about the same way. i was disappointed to find that this phone still does have the ability to change the default txt style from T9 to just regular typing. also let down to find you do not have control to turn off the "send to" option after taking a picture. you still can not turn off the camera click when taking a picture. the return button between the send and end buttons did not look as good as the t919, but that's a subjective point of view from me. most of the functions remain unchanged from the t919 but the t929 adds a search feature by typing instead of using the tft ...

  • I Love the Memoir because it lives up to it's name.. A+

I love the Memoir T929 because it lives up to it's name.. A+++ I love the fact; it does take Great Pics.. I can use my cell phone and take Great Pics without using my camera, which is a lot heavier to tug around. The Memoir shows beauty and style while using this phone. The memoir has lots of features which i haven't had a chance to get to all of them quite yet. The downside to the memoir is: I wish the texting keys were larger, along with the phone sound being a little louder, when talking. I also wish the battery held it's charge. I notice after doing online and trying to make a call i only have one or two bars left, after when my battery was charged before going online. Overall, if these negatives with my were better, I would have a perfect phone!! Although, I don't think I would trade ...

  • Superb Camera Phone!

It really depends on how you intend to use the phone aside from calls. it's not as smart as the other smart phones out there but it still does the job. you can still browse the web, though i have not tried this for i don't have the patience to wait stuff to upload coz im used to fast computers. anyway, Its main focus is to be a camera which it truly excels in. Im impressed with the clarity and the modes that are available. you'll have fun with the camera specially if you know a lil about photography for it has features like an updated Sony camera on the market. it has continous mode, capturing 9 consecutive images on the hold of the shutter. panorama which stick together 2 to 3 of your images for a wide image. mosaic which is a fun feature. combine pictures in a creative way. it even has a ...

  • Beats iphone, blackberry storm 9530 and G1

Beats all three on my title, I had them all three and this is the best from those three. For the previous reviewers I would like to make comments on, the LCD goes black quickly is because you have your backlight time to min. try resetting it by going to: menu, settings, display settings, backlight time. That feature also LOCKS the phone automatically, it all depends on your "backlight time" setting. Both indoor and outdoors, Photo quality is the best of all the cell phones I have owned. Easy to use on all features but if this is your first touchphone or cameraphone you've owned, than just follow the book menu. For webbrowsing, I knew this phone had no wifi, didn't care because I have t-mobile web account and I can go webrowsing where ever I am and webrowsing is super fast. Great speaker ...

  • Almost there!

The good: For a phone, the camera is phenomenal. Happy with the MP3 player as well. GPS is a nice touch. The bad: Touch screen interface on this phone is clunky. The battery has a short life when using the phone's features. Phone wouldn't connect to my computer with USB cable, had to buy a blue tooth dongle. Doesn't come with normal headphone jack, had to buy an adapter. Web browser is a pain to use. No optical zoom on the camera. Overall: I bought this phone so I wouldn't have to lug around a camera and MP3 player. Having bought a spare battery and headphone adapter, the phone suits my needs. I might cancel my web service though, because using the web browser on this phone is a pain in the ass.
