Product Information

The Hasbro G.I. Joe Snow Serpent action figure represents Cobra in cold conditions, such as the Arctic Circle. Cobra, the enemy of G.I. Joe, fights against the popular good guys in a variety of places around the world, including across the ice caps of the Arctic region. The Cobra polar assault soldier operates in a wide range of other snowy areas and resists G.I. Joe wherever he finds him. Released as part of the fourth series in 1985, Snow Serpent was discontinued in 1987. In 1992 leftover Snow Serpent stock was packaged and sold as the misnamed Cobra Snow Viper. To survive the Arctic climate, Snow Serpents wear warm clothing, including a military jumpsuit trimmed in fur. This Cobra soldier also wears sturdy boots for shoes to ensure he gets the best footing in the snow and ice. For deeper snow, Snow Serpent comes with snowshoes to help him traverse the hazardous terrain. In addition to warm clothing, Snow Serpent comes with a variety of packs to hold his gear, including a backpack and bags on his utility harness. In addition to a removable backpack, the Cobra soldier also carries an AK-47 for protection and a missile launcher to help him in his attacks on G.I. Joe. The missile launcher comes in two pieces: the stand that holds the weapon up and the rocket itself. Like all of the action figures in the G.I. Joe line, the arms and legs of the Cobra snow trooper move in a variety of directions. The joints of the elbows, upper legs, and knees allow kids to position the Cobra trooper in a variety of action figure poses. Plus the design of the hands allow Snow Serpent to hold various weapons in addition to the one he comes with. When searching for a Hasbro G.I. Joe Snow Serpent action figure, toy collectors need to remain aware of a few things. G.I. Joe action figures still in the original packaging tend to demand a higher price than figures out of the package.     Highly recommended. Great figure.

    1985 G.I. Joe Cobra SNOW SERPENT

    I never had this figure as a kid. But I think this is one of the coolest and most detailed vintage G.I. Joe figure that was made. Not so durable, Hay this IS 30 year old plastic that was played with by kids.
