Happy with the good and honest seller! Items as described, and were packed adequately (small ESD bag per m.2 drive, and in a thick-wall bubble mailer). Shipping was prompt and arrived in ~ two weeks which was slightly faster than the advertised three weeks. I confirmed the items were new visually as there were no insertion marks on the board fingers, and SMART data showed no power on hours and only the initialization read/writes.

    A worthwhile upgrade to an aging dual-core system.

    I bought this processor as an upgrade to a computer running an Intel Core 2 Duo E7400, and wasn't expecting much of a change going from a very fast dual-core processor (2.8 GHz) to a slower quad-core processor (2.33 GHz). I was surprised by how responsive my computer became. The higher front-side bus (the connection between the memory and the rest of the computer) speed does make a difference (1066 for the E7400 vs. 1333 for the Q8200). When going from a dual-core to a quad-core processor, be aware of the extra heat that two more processor cores put out. The new processor does run a few degrees warmer. I'm using a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus with dual fans in a push-pull configuration, so smaller heatsinks may cause a bigger change in temperature.

    quad intel q8200

    well it bought used ebay and i wanted it to work a intel motherboard i have a degree in electronics and it worked and installed but too bench tested and how i stands benchmarks i didnt do this so i would this idea if theres problems you mail it off to the address on the box and they never do this i want a lifetime warranty cpu now if problems like doesnt istall operating system mail it off get a anther one intel happy i am happy ebay happy alls happy peace love and happyness warm puppys good day everybody warranty pappers mine works like this why dont they happen? there not there why you explain its my work and this what have you do this now make it happen support this good day

    well i really cant tell

    i upgraded from an core2 duo to this and at least in my game i didn't see a difference. in my mind this can mean only one thing i must be bottlenecked somewhere else. so this review is pretty much irrelevant sorry.( i found out recently that WoW does not take advantage of multiple cores so a faster processor would have been better that more cores. and now i know)

    Not Happy!

    Pro: Can't think of any. Con: Came with one of the screws on the heatsink fan broken. Fan is useless. Don't trust how the CPU looks.
