Best Alphabet Book Ever! Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
A word of warning. If you haven't a rhythmic bone in your body, you'd best not be reading "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" anytime soon. This book is very much known to be the best known alphabet book on the market today. Telling a tale of alphabetic foolhardiness, a troop of lower case letters go bounding up the nearby coconut tree for a variety of reasons. When the tree can no longer support their weight the little letters find themselves splayed out on the ground. Fortunately the big letters come along to comfort the little ones, though it's obvious by the end that not all have learned their lesson. Verses of the letters are all intermixed. Example to follow below: "Chicka chick boom boom! Will there be enough room? Here comes H Up the coconut tree" The text has a nice rhythym quality to it. ... A word of warning. My best ebay purchase ever!
This is such a fun book! I bought this book because my daughter was coming home from school repeating "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" over and over again and I wasn't sure what it was. When I found out it was something they were using in school, I couldn't wait to get it and read it with her at home. She loves to sit with me and she will recite the "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" parts with funny voices and she points out to me the letters in the book. It's a great way to help a kid learn their alphabet and it becomes such an interactive way for them to learn! For any parent of a preschooler or Kindergarten student- you should definitely buy this book!This is such a fun book! Too many letters on that tree...
"A told B, and B told C, "I'll meet you at the top of the coconut tree."" That is the first line in this fun rhyming book. When A and B and C race to the top of the tree, D, E, F and all the other letters follow up the palm tree. When all the letters are at the top...Boom! Boom! Children will love to read this book over and over. It is so much fun!
