About this product

Product Information

A dead-on port of the 1981 Exidy arcade game, Mouse Trap is a cute (but not syrupy sweet) maze contest that makes good use of Coleco's keypad-enhanced joysticks. Buttons 1, 2 and 3 operate the color-coded doors while button 5 turns the mouse into a barking dog. Controls lack the pure simplicity found in Ms. Pac-Man, but the strategies, such as trapping cats by closing doors, give the game depth. Mouse Trap is a perfect example of Coleco's excellence in translating coin-op curiosities into stellar home games.

  • good cool game but do not pay top dollar for it.

I was a bit dissapointed with Gorf (there's only so much you can realize thru youtube videos...) But overall I still very much like this game! It would've been complete if the part that looks like Gyrss actually was like Gyruss! It has a cool feel, and its nice that it has bosses, its more multi-dimensional than most Colecovision or Atari 2600 games... But it's no GULKAVE!!!

  • Mouse Trap is a can't miss title that will provide hrs of entertainment.

With no Pac-Man previously available for the Colecovision, Mouse Trap is a fun and innovative alternative. The only minor knock against this title is that your mouse sometimes has the tendency to stick a little bit between passages. The cats are rather tame at skill level one, but once you bump that up to level four, consider them feral. You've got to be quick on the draw to change the maze when necessary by pressing the corresponding color on the overlay.

  • Lot of fun to have with this game.

It is important to remember where it all starts. Colecovision was the best videogame system and people seems to forget.Let's play again and have fun.
