Bad quality fuel pump.
When I installed the fuel pump it worked great. After a few days, it started taking a little longer to start. Then it started to take longer cranks to start and eventually it took a long time to start, it sputtered and barely idled and then it would smooth out. I could not figure out what it was. I let my van sit for a couple of weeks then I took the tank off to see if I missed something in the install but everything looked good. It still had the problem of having to crank so many times to get it to start. After searching on the internet for a diagnosis, I finally found another van like mine with the same symptoms and the mechanic demonstrated the cause was the fuel pressure regulator to be faulty. The fuel pressure regulator is on the pump. Now I have to find a way to get the gas out of ... When I installed the fuel pump it worked great. Pump was bad from the start! lasted in van less than 2 weeks and they refuse to warranty it and take it back. I do not recommend buying from CN-Batteries. My personal opinion is this is fraud!
