Seller attempted to make it right by offering $20 credit which is not that great when the posting was for a new item. After reviewing the items online, the box was suppose to be wrapped with plastic and the item was suppose to have stickers around the bolt to shows it new. This one did not have any indication that it was new.

    Dodge simple but tough tailgate lock.

    I have purchased their locks before and had no problems with them. I'm sure this will be the same as it still seems to be built rugged.
