    Goofy, but highly entertaining

    Jim Carrey, in the earlier stages of his career, was known to be a slap-stick actor. This is classic Carrey playing the role of a pet detector who gets pulled in to serious detecting. It is over the top, over dramatic, and highly implausible, but that is the point. While styles change, and society changes, tastes in comedy change as well. But, this movie is just as entertaining now as it was then. Just make sure you are in the right frame of mood to take in its particular brand of comedy and all will be right with the world...at least for the duration of the movie. Sure, your IQ might temporarily drop a few, but no where near as bad as Idiocracy.

    Hysterical!!! Too funny. Classic!!

    This movie has always been a favorite of mine. Had to show it to my daughters. They now understand where my warped sense of humor comes from. I had the dvd when it was first out but I lost it somehow. So obviously ebay was the best place to find it cheap. Thank you!!

    Hilarious movie

    A funny and very corny movie. Jim Carrie just pours with his antics to get the job done. That's finding the dolphin someone captured for ransom. On the some very strange things occurs. Carrie ad libs with his talking buns. You'll roll over laughing.
