    simple to install

    this unit was new when i got it. first thing I did was pulled the old drive transferred the board over to the new drive put it in the xbox one x fired up and read the disks fine. easy install. done in 10 mins. simple, and straight forward. just for the people that don't know this: if your blueray player in your xbox one dies, you better hope the board in the dvd drive isnt messed up cause if it is, you're going to have to replace the entire xbox cause the dvd drive internal board is married to the xbox one motherboard. You can thank Microsoft for that. seems a little silly to have to replace your entire xbox one just because your bluray player board is toast.
