    MUST HAVE

    I bought this to protect my tv and other gadgets from power surge damage. Living in a rural area. You can imagine how often the power goes out here. Though I am equipped with a whole house backup generator, it takes 3 seconds to kick in, and those 3 seconds can become VERY costly, considering the price you paid for your tv, sound system or whatever other gadgets you're using. The mounting brackets are included if you wish to mount it, and the size of this unit is perfect. I 100%recommend this to anyone looking to keep using their entertainment items for years to come.

    A must have for Marantz owners.

    When I bought my Marantz 7002 AVR, I. Priced only two blades on my power plug for the unit,. Is not normal for high-end equipment.. But upon reading the manual., I found it needed a separate ground or a power management conditioner.. And my house as most new homes is all "PLEX piped" so Nothing to ground to.. Unless you run a ground wire through the house. It is a good safety device for expensive avr equipment in case of electric surges.. Reccomed it highly.

    Quality protection at a decent price

    I own two mr4300's that protect my home theater equipment. My home is prone to lightning strikes and these have protected my equipment. They shut off power to your expensive equipment in nanoseconds before the strike and destroy them and they do it well. These mr4300's are priced well used and are a very nice investment.

    Good value; dependable product.

    I have used Panamax products for over 35 years and have only had to return one unit in all that time. Fortunately, I have never had to depend on one to protect my a/v equipment from a catastrophic surge, so I don't know how well they back up their guarantees.
