    Metabones IV Adapter Great for Using Canon EF Lenses on Sony A7r2

    I had previously tried this adapter when Sony first released the A7 but found it worked with few of my Canon lenses and was slowe to autofocus. Now, a few years later, I have tried the Mark IV adapter with my Sony A7R2. I am happy to find many more Canon EF lenses that will autofocus, and some even Eye autofocus with my A7R2. Now I have more options for lenses than just the Sony FE lenses. The Canon lens line is ecpxceptional in depth. Plus some are smaller, lighter and cheaper than a Sony equivalent, if one even exists yet.

    Makes the A7R2 even more versatile!

    With the current firmware as installed when I bought the adapter, it does not do eye focus mode. Other than that it functions as I would expect a native lens to function. Solid build quality. Focuses Canon ultrasonic lenses quickly and quietly. For the price of this adapter and a Canon 24 to 105 L lens my cost doesn't add up to half of what an equivalent Sony native lens would cost.
