2013 Corolla Back up camera
Mother-in-law loves it! With the links/YouTube videos was very easy to install. I do have the plastic pry bar, trim removal tools so it was an easy hook up also. To be completely honest, my 19-year-old son did most of the install. I did some of the wiring. He did like 90% of install as I assisted making sure no pinched wires or scratching car. Looks professionally installed with ease of how this camera is to install and videos at your command. Although placement of camera in rear; I googled placement, wasn't very clear. Simple google of 2013 Corolla back up camera and was able to see where it's installed. Mother-in-law loves it! With the links/YouTube videos was very easy to install. Good camera kit for prius 2013
I originally bought another brand and it wasnt great; the video signal was always bad and only green would show up. I have a 2013 prius two and its really important to get a camera that is 6v instead of 12v. A lot of the other brands use 12v and it seems like only PY Video uses the proper camera. So if you have a prius in the right years this is the kit to get. It works well and only took a few hours to install. That being said, here are the downsides I had. The "rockledge securities" video that you are instructed to watch to help with the install is very good but it skips about 1/3 of the info and it is not that detailed. There are a lot of runs with the cable where in the video it just magically appears on the other side without showing exactly how to run it. example - I was very ... The video tends to only have one shakey wide shot for everything and no close ups where you can really see where the cable is being run. The kit that you receive from PY video is also different from the instructional video which is annoying. Theres a bit of DIY problem solving involved... for example in the video you run the camera cable until it goes to the roof lining; with the different kit we are provided that is impossible. So you have to plug the extension before that point and run the extension from there instead. All in all it was a good kit and i'm glad i finally god one that works well. The camera is a bit low angled and it can be hard to see ahead as it points toward the ground much more; but it works. The only thing I couldnt get working was the plastic part that holds the camera on my car.... I got it out but after putting it back in with the camera it is very wiggly. Going to have to figure out a way to glue it in there. Its a good camera and It was a fun DIY project for me. Saved some money and finally got the backup camera ive been wanting.

DIY Camera Installation
With guide marks on camera, it should be mounted in the center of your vehicle to make everything look straight.. 2012 Toyota Prius camera mounts beside the license plate so the marks are a little off.. but I only use the camera to see other vehicles so it works fine for that.

Aside from that annoying and time-consuming omission as well as the too-fast YouTube video, the installation went according to plan. The video camera output seems to be pretty-high resolution, and, when I finally got the guidelines to show, the result seems fine.The YouTube video is much too fast to be that helpful. Works for the Factory install radio in 2013 Toyota camry SE
I installed this camera onto my 2013 Toyota camry SE and it works fantastic! Be sure to look at the video a few times to get an idea on how to do the install and jump right into it. I had a stereo technician install the camry in my vehicle for a good price 70$ , And it took 1 hour to install the camera. All in all, great camera, great price, simply enough install.
